Soldiers Are Dreamers

About the game

Soldiers Are Dreamers is an interactive entertainment experience created as part of the first arc of Pause:Continue by Peter Willington. It is a very short title and it may be worth listening to those shows before giving it a go, for perspective on what the project was aiming for.

You can download Soldiers Are Dreamers right here (for Windows XP and Vista) and right here (for Windows 7). Please feel free to comment on this page about your experiences of the title. I’m fascinated to hear what you think of it and your opinion on what narrative is being told.

If you are interested in providing direct feedback or have a question, do please let me know by contacting me on xero at inretrospectpodcast dot com.

Please note, the version for Windows 7 is different to the other edition as the audio on the XP and Vista versions fades out when you click away from the source, in all other ways however it is identical. I shall update the title with this fading ability as soon as the latest version of Adventure Maker becomes available.

My thanks too to Laurie Reynolds for allowing me to use a landscape of his, to Liam for his photographic contribution and to Siegfried Sassoon for being a truly inspiring poet. Thanks to all my guests over the course of this arc and to the InRetroSpect team for being an amazing bunch. No thanks go to The Gremlin. Finally, I’d like to thank our listeners and everyone who plays this game.
